We would like to invite anyone interested to attend our continuing education course which will be held on Saturday September 22nd from 8:30-10:30am at the UK Student Center just before Smiles for Life.  This course is a recent edition to the event and all those who attend will receive two hours of CE credit toward their yearly needs. The CE course is $50 to attend and includes admission to the rest of the Smiles for Life Event.

The title for the year’s CE course is: “How to Better Understand and Help the Patient with Chronic Orofacial Pain” This topic will be presented by Dr. Jeffery P. Okeson and Dr. Charley R. Carlson. Dr. Okeson is a worldwide leader on the subject of orofacial pain and Dr. Carlson is a clinical psychologist. They will discuss how we can better serve this patient population and also talk about how this issue is related to victims of domestic violence. All dentists, hygienists, assistants and staff are welcome to attend.
