We would like to invite anyone interested to come to our FREE continuing education course which will be held on Saturday October 2nd just before Smiles for Life from 10-11am at the UK Student Center. This portion of Smiles for Life is a recent edition to the event, and all those who attend this portion will receive one hour of CE credit towards their yearly needs. Anyone wishing to attend the CE course can come at no cost with ticket purchase for Smiles for Life.

This year’s topic will focus on the dental patient who is in an abusive situation. As a dentist, how do you recognize these individuals? What is the best way to communicate with them in order to gain trust and facilitate a better relationship? What are your legal responsibilities for reporting suspected abuse and how do you follow up? What resources are available for patients in your area, and how can you get patients in need the assistance they require? All of these questions and more will be addressed at the one hour talk. All dentists, hygenists, assistants and staff are welcome to attend this FREE hour of CE credit!!!
